Can you believe that it is already half way through the summer holidays? We feel like we haven’t stopped here at Martel and August is shaping up to be an extremely busy month!
You may have already heard about our exciting news, that we have become a UK and USA partner for GeBE Elektronik’s kiosk printers! GeBE are based in Munich, Germany and have been in the business for 40 years, whilst Martel have been in the business for 33 years. Combined we deliver a huge amount of valuable experience, as well as high quality products to our customers worldwide. It’s an exciting opportunity for both Martel and GeBE and we feel that their kiosk printers will complement our thermal printer range perfectly.
Matt and Sharon are getting ready to head over to Munich for some product training, so stay tuned to our social media accounts for more information on their trip. Alternatively you can find more about our kiosk range here.
We have also been busy putting the finishing touches to our online store which is set to be launched later in August. We are really excited for you all to see how it looks.
Our dispatch department had an equally busy month in July, as our printers once again were shipped worldwide. You can see from our map below everywhere they were sent to. It’s one of our favourite maps yet!
We hope you all have a lovely time, in the remaining few weeks of the summer holidays, and we look forward to hearing about what you have been up too!
It’s quite fitting as the commercial manager of Martel to be writing this as it’s one of my favourite ever subjects, SHOPPING! We will soon be opening our online web store where thermal printers, paper rolls and other accessories can be purchased. We will keep you posted as to when the store is up and running, but for now estimate it to be mid-August. All products in the web store will be available for immediate shipping worldwide.
Speaking of worldwide shipping, once again in the month of June we’ve been global. Proudly made in the UK, and exported around the globe our shipping has taken us from North America, to China, to Australia to Europe and many places in between. You can see below the map of how our printers travel miles around the globe to varying sectors.
Coming soon we’ll also have a range of helpful hints and tips when purchasing thermal printers. This will aid people who are unsure on power, communications, print media etc. We’ll be sure to keep you informed on our social media, website and of course the blog.
For now, I’m off to check out how the web store is coming along, but please leave a comment if you have any questions.
